Drywall repair and interior painting go hand in hand for All American Painting Plus’ professional painters, since we’re not in the habit of applying a coat of paint to a damaged surface. That means we have the experience to make your wall look like new, and our residential painting contractors would be happy to do that for you in an accurate and efficient manner. Our aim is always to enhance and maintain the appearance of your home, and drywall repair is just one of the many ways our experts achieve that goal.
What you can expect with our drywall repair services:
You can expect our repairman to show up in full uniform at 7:00 a.m. ready to tackle your project. On the first day your repairman will walk the job with you, discuss the best approach, and cover any final details. Most repairs can be completed in a couple of hours by a single person, but larger repair projects will require more time and manpower. An All American Painting Plus representative will communicate the scope of your job beforehand and keep you updated as the project progresses.
Drywall Hole Cleaned
Drywall repairs start by making holes neat, with sharp edges. Neat shapes make it easier to apply a patch.
Next, a patch is created to match the size and shape of the damaged drywall area. Small damaged portions may be repaired by drywall putty alone, while larger damaged spots will need patches made from real drywall.
Spackling, Sanding, and Painting
Your repairman will spackle, sand, and paint until the formerly damaged region of drywall is indistinguishable from the drywall around it.
Note: In the case of widespread water or fire damage, drywall repairs will be more complex. As always, All American Painting Plus works to help clients understand the project before it unfolds. We always work efficiently to save time and money and give you a great finished product fast.
