The All American Painting Plus Process
From initial call to final clean up we have the right people, procedures and systems in place. The entire process can move as quickly as possible or you can go at your own pace. Either way we are here with you and for you every step of the way. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is take the first step. Take the first step in the process and we will do the rest. To give you a preview of the great things to come see our steps below.
Step 1: Reach Out
Submit a request with our website form or pick up the phone and give us a call. In the rare instance that we don’t answer the phone we will respond the same day or the next business day if you reach out after hours or over the weekend.
Step 2: Phone Consultation
We will take some time asking questions about your project to see if it is a problem we can help you solve. Sometimes we may ask for pictures of the project to assist in making that determination, so as to not waste any of your valuable time. If we feel like we can help you and we decide together that it makes sense to have us out, we will schedule a free consultation at the project site.
Step 3: Project Site Visit
One of our consultants will meet with you at the project site. We typically only ask for two things. One is that you set aside an hour for the appointment. And two that we take about 10 minutes at the beginning of the visit to sit down and thoroughly assess your needs. We find that the more we understand what is important to you from the beginning, the better results you will get in the end. If it is determined that we can meet your needs we will take a project walk through together.
Step 4: Estimate
After the project walkthrough with your consultant, they will typically drop back on their own and enter your estimate into our software and present you with a price that day, or on larger and more complicated projects they will take more meticulous notes and will send you the estimate via email within two business days. Either way you will receive a very detailed and itemized estimate so there is no confusion as to what will transpire.
Step 5: Scheduling Your Project
You can accept your estimate electronically. You will then receive an electronic invoice where you can make your 50% deposit. Shortly after that payment is completed our designated Field Manager will reach out to you to schedule your project when it is convenient for you. If you are painting and changing colors we can offer you a free color consultation as well to move things along. After your project is scheduled you will receive a video on the few things we need from you and what to expect from us.
Step 6: Pre-Project Walkthrough
At the very beginning of your project an assigned Foreman will meet with you, walk the job with you one more time and make sure everyone is clear on all the details and colors. Together you will determine the best workflow that will be easiest on your daily routine.
Step 7: Prep Work
There is an old adage that most of the work in painting is in the preparations. This couldn’t be more true for most home improvement projects! Whether it is protecting adjoining surfaces or the furniture, or cleaning and sanding surfaces for adhesion and sealing surfaces with primer and caulk. This will make a big difference in the longevity of your job.
Step 8: Painting
This is where we get to see the results of our hard labor. There is nothing more satisfying than applying high quality paint to a properly prepared surface and seeing it shine like new.
Step 9: Post-Project Walkthrough
After our crew completes your project, but before we leave, we will have a post project walkthrough with you. This is to assure that all areas in the estimate have been completed and look fantastic. In the unlikely event that we missed something, have no fear, for your job is backed by a two year written warranty.
